The first home is conceived as a compact, comfortable permanent home for one veteran. We are not trying to build the smallest structure that can legally be called housing. We are trying to build the right starting home well.
The site plan, structure, roof geometry and utilities will be considered with future expansion in mind. Life may change: a partner, children or other needs may create a reason for more space. A permanent home should not become an obstacle to the future it helped make possible.
